Just got off the phone with a good friend, almost my age.

He was telling me how he spent the weekend at the lake (long weekend here), and next to him was a family consisting of, mom,dad, and two teenage boys.

Boys spent most of the weekend smoking pot and bragging how they were going to take the year off, draw EI until it ran out and then apply for welfare.

All legal, all sanctioned by government and no objections from Mom and/or Dad.

My buddy owns a construction company, pays good wages and is having difficulty getting workers.

Guess this is what "prosperity?" breeds, no?
