I find it astonishing that the American leaders can look the public in the eye and proclaim that they have increased the debt ceiling to avert a crisis. By raising the debt ceiling, they have opened the door to a much larger fiscal crisis down the road. They have enabled a crisis, not averted one.

This bill allows us to continue spending more money than we have to spend, which is immoral and flat out wrong.

We need new leadership at all levels.
