The Cartel has signalled a big G&S takedown tomorrow with today's attack on pm's. They need an announcement on debt ceiling settlement to pull down G&S. I am sure they are putting pressure on politicians to announce something or risk loss of their re-election monetary support from the banksters. From Midas tonight:

"What a nightmare for The Gold Cartel, what with option expiry tomorrow and all that exposure to their, and others, written calls at the $1600 strike price. Some of that buying last night surely was partly fueled by some of the writers being force to cover as part of their delta hedging program rules … which requires some of the call writers to have a certain amount of futures coverage for their written calls as the price rises.

The Gold Cartel has to be praying for any positive reason re the debt talks to slam the gold price back down going into the expiry … even if they have to float their own bogus rumor for a few hours."
