I did take a look at Stock house AUM although it's been over a year since the last time I visited the site. Very similar pattern. The knee jerk reaction was mostly negative with some posters claiming AUM was totally screwed in the deal. Those posters who took time to do some DD saw that there were some merits to the deal for both parties. Remember, AUM had more than cash, they also had a great property to develop. They wouldn't make this deal and take this risk unless they were convinced Verladena would succeed. I'm hoping one of the first steps the combined company takes is to finish the PEA(scoping study) that ECU started. That document , which should be NI 43-101 compliant, will go a long way to convincing the big institutional investors that this deal will work.
