How many on this board REALLY understand what is happening?

How many on this board have taken proper initiatives to protect themselves, their future, their survival etc.

I see lots of young people spending money on non-essentials. Even my oldest son, who is more savvy than most, chastises me daily for not keeping up with all the latest IT gizmos (he's in the IT business, so he has a self-promotional instinct).

When TSHTF who has the ability to be self-sufficient, and try not to be a burden on others?

As JS says, it can happen anytime, even tonight, tomorrow etc.

Are you prepared?

How many still have RRSP's, (or U.S equivalent)?
