Maybe a stupid question, but can the brokers and affiliated hedge funds go short warrants like they can go the shares?

Anyway, i bought 67,000 ECU warrants in April at an average price of $0,51 and I think it will be hard to get that amount of warrants for that price from hereon. It seems that the warrants don't go cent by cent, but jump a lot by 3-5 cents on the day. A thin market, both in supply and demand.
