Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
Personally I am very, very pleased with this statement directly made to those of us who have been loudly complaining about seeming inactivity. Not only does it clearly show true 'vision' of where we want to be (realistically as well) but it tackles head-on the big topic of stock suppression. I asked a week ago for even the most veiled threat of legal action and got it. Great. Sometimes I think the company reps actually read our forum :)...
I have to say that I personally was most please about the prospect of adding additional properties. This is an exploration story and should stick to what they are good at. They need to fund the exploration through their mining activities (they show in the statement that they have thought this through) and push on towards better and better confirmed resources.
.63 Tidbits.. no kidding. Heck .77 is still is wicked, crazy bargain. I'm actually a bit miffed that I really am 'all in' at this point from all the adding at value on the way down. I'd love to buy more.
By the way, I think I may have inadvertently offended some board members with my comments on the Conservative Party in Canada, so I thought I would expand slightly.
Basically I don't like the first-past-the-post system which leads to majority governments whereby there is little limit to the power they can wield. Unlike the US, the PM has a LOT of power, he doesn't just sign bills coming his way, his party can create bills and pass them with little in the way of real effective resistance. This party was elected with 39% of the vote with 50% of people voting... (so less than 6 million votes out of 30 million people).
One only has to review previous majority governments in Canada to see the corruption this usually kicks up. It's the old 'power corrupts & absolute power corrupts absolutely' effect. I'm not really a fan of any of the current parties or leaders, but I am especially wary of Harper & his friends. It's not a political philosophy issue, it's the mistrust he seems to show towards Canadians and Canadian institutions. I also don't trust that he will lift a finger to cleanse the country of the back room wheeling and dealing and the corrupt exchanges. 'Nuff said... I prefer minority governments as they are forced to compromise and generally show the best results (look at the canadian economy after the past 5 years of minority governments). Last I will say, but apologies to anyone I may have offended.
Random thoughts mixed with some sincere wishes of wealth and prosperity to all on the board.
