It's worth bearing in mind, that although juniors/majors listed on the American indexes 'may' be affected by expectations of a $1500.00 gold price

a) Juniors listed on the Canadian exchanges are a mixed bag. Not all are pm miners

b) the Canadian price of gold is nowhere nearly as strong as the US price of gold, linked here

so there's no need for the Canadian juniors listed on the $CDNX Venture to react to $1500.00 US gold, or the powers that be trying to support the USD. Different country, different price of gold.
