To understand why, and to either get out from under, or sink lower, just understand and follow these basic rules:
1. The market is never wrong.
2. The market does not like uncertainty.
3. The “shorts” thrive on uncertainty.
4. Share prices increase/decrease on optimism/pessimism.
5. Optimism/pessimism is determined by the market and displayed by volume and price.
6. For every buyer, there is a seller. (the opposite does not follow)
When the sector is either “in, or out of vogue” according to the market, volume increases, and price increases/decreases accordingly.
As for ECU, and most of the PM’s, the volume of interest is still very minimal compared to the rest of the marketplace.
Good Luck to all!
