I sat holding GSS when there were shorts all over it, at a time when they were digging upl ow quality rock, and a succession of offerings issued to create the cash required to alter the situation.

I also sat with Coeur D'Alene at a time when they were unloading a low production site and acquiring another business. The terms of the latter created a buying/shorting opportunity for those in the know. The outcome for CDE (still struggling with a massive short position, largely as a result of the quantity of shares outstanding, coupled with derivatives/options trading issues), was finally resolved with a reverse split.

On both occasions, I became so hacked off with the wait, I sold up and moved on, only to find that in both instances the share price rose significantly higher after the event, which meant that the paper loss I'd taken, if I'd have waited would have eventually turned into a gain.

I learned the lesson, and I'm hanging on. The issue here, although ECU has masses of potential, is that they've already issued a lot of shares to take them to where they are now. Their competition hasn't. To compare with their competition they have to increase their measured under the ground resources, and improve visibility of their balance sheet.

As I wrote before, higher production levels should translate to a share price of around $3.00 assuming low production costs, at yesterdays silver price. An improved silver price and confirmation of operating costs with expected reductions will help considerably IMHO, and has the potential to trade way over $3.00.

All do-able.
