Actually my story is almost a carbon copy of Coach in a smaller degree. I lost close to 75% from my high and learned to trade through necessity. I kept core positions and traded a lot. If I thought something was about to take off I would sell other stocks and load up. I learned not to fall in love with ANY stock. I bought a ton of ECU near the bottom(s) and sold a lot of it much higher. For a while it seemed that if I sold off a stock to go elsewhere, it would work out and I could buy it back cheaper down the road.
I now have my PF higher than ever before. I have a lot of ECU warrants but not much common shares. I am hoping for a couple of other stocks to put out news and take off and then I am going to load up like never before on ECU before the drills start.
I think the bad times taught me a lot that will help going forward and allow me to protect my assets in the future. I still haven't made enough to quit my day job...but I'm working on it...
