OR, short the shares, and cover with the warrants. Pocket, or pay the difference.
Sure helps if the share price is higher than the options price.
I did this with warrants once upon a time, as I had tons of warrants, and very little cash.
My very skillful broker liquidated over 100K warrants, with hardly a ripple to the share price. In the end, I had cash, but could have instructed my broker to work at achieving an end product of $xxx plus xxx shares, in whatever ratio I wanted.
