gwr, I wonder if this could be due in part to the announcement that ECU will be added to the TSX Global Mining Index next Monday? Not sure if Index funds typically trade on Alpha or not?

Regardless, ECU has just moved up a couple of notches in the credibility department with this announcement. I would not be surprised to see some new brokerage coverage with revised upward target prices in the near future.
