I think the point Rich was trying to make is that with copper breaking out, Gold and Silver are not going to swoon. It will have the opposite effect and give them further momentum to rise.

The cartel took Gold and Silver down so that they are not sky rocketing from 30+ and 1420+ with copper breaking out. They just moved the starting line back.
