Gold is being hit hard today on a purely technical basis imo. One of the most accurate weekly indicators that I follow closely has entered into what I refer to as the "turbo charge zone" where historically the POG tends to accelerate to the upside for periods lasting weeks or even months.

As Sinclair has often stated TPTB closely follow the technicals and enter the markets in size in attempts to cap potential rallies in the making and this accounts in large part for today's sudden correction. Cap the technicals at all costs is the marching orders this week.

Also worth noting that Silver is well entrenched in it's own unique TCZ thus it's not surprising to see strong support kick in around $30 as price heads for the minimum $32 target price objective predicted months ago. Frankly I'm floored how far and fast Silver's come since it tore out of the $18 artificial cap. Demand for physical is unprecedented and if it persists, I wouldn't be surprised to see a top in the $50 range by next Spring.

At any rate looks like the invisible heavy hand is having another go at it as I type......
