There is not much to say about the extended trading times for market participants, it has been there for years although you don't see if that often. It has happened to ECU in the past on occasion. I believe all trades must happen at the closing price between willing particpants or bids/offers left in the system. I also know that some types of trades are arranged and completed at the closing price at day's end and posted.
