The only thing of interest to me in the US job numbers is the trend not the actual numbers reported every month as they are rather poorly done but any port in a storm for the cartel and traders. The jobs numbers have provided a down move for gold 98% of the time over the last many years and it matters not whether they are good, bad or indifferent, it's an excuse and trade. These are the markets the US has spawned with their concentrated non-competitive financial system and computers run amok and no one will do anything about it.

Note that no one dare talks about turning the computers off and anyone of any intelligence knows they can't be regulated as they innovate faster than regulators can move. Speed is everything as they skim money as opposed to real fundamental investing in America which made America great. I still hold out some hope that some real leadership might emerge in the US but time is ticking.
