Hmmm... silver is almost flat, but what is that sitting on out ECU stocks? A 40,000 pound elephant? Where did the momentum go, where did the buyers disappear to? Has anyone seen the Level II? I seriously hope this isn't another one of the 'hope raisers' that gets squashed early. I just can't understand how these 'rays of sunshine' appear now and again, and yet today just when it looks like we may have a serious breakout, this is my only stock in the red. Crazy. Or crazily manipulated...

As for the message from Pic... well I have always said Pic that you have my respect and I will never renege on that. I am very happy that you have had a life changing and positive experience, good for you... those are often very good things and you should pursue it if that is what you feel the desire to do. However, I seriously disagree on the point that a return to Christianity is the route to saving the Republic. The separation of Church and State is always a good thing no matter which faith.

Regardless of the faith (or non-faith) of any individuals, good people and good intentions come from all places and bad people with evil intentions lurk amongst every faith/race/nationality. America was never great due to Christianity (the Irish are one of the worlds most historically devout — hasn't exactly worked for them... ) but because the USA was an open and tolerant society which welcomed thinkers, writers, poets, artists and innovators from around the globe regardless of their colour, nationality or past. It was a place which everyone else wanted to be a part of... a 'dream machine'.

I think where America has gone off the path is where fear & a desire for security has replaced cheast-beating confidence and a desire for freedom from persecution. When the people start to consider amending an amendment to the constitution which guarantees all who are born within your boarders a citizenship, something has been lost. When people rally against a massive influx in immigrants on fears of safety despite a massive drop in violent crime... something is broken. Where people panic every time a threat color changes from Yellow to Orange, you start to wonder how correct Orwell really was.

Perhaps you're right in a way. The universal center of all religions and 99% of philosophies is to "do unto others as you would have done unto you" and that is currently missing. The respect for one another. But that doesn't just come from Christian principals, it comes from facing down fears of the 'others' and embracing mankinds differences for the betterment of all. We can all learn from one another and that's not just Hallmark Card talk.

On my part, I have learned from you as well Pic, and I thank you for your participation and spreading your knowledge. I look forward to meeting you on day soon. Respect. And for me, in respect to this board, I will stay on topic with things relevant to ECU/economy etc. from here on forward.
