America may have been founded on JUDEA/Christian values but it was set up to be a melting pot and therefore any religion that teaches patience, tolerance and understanding is fine by me. The beauty of America is the "church" was set up in men and their freedoms.

As for Beck and Palin and the whole Tea Party Movement, I get a weird vibe. Where were these people 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 years ago? Ron Paul has been there, where were they? Even Rick Perry was cozying up, YUCK! The way I figure the new tea party is being set up to somehow make the two party system look more two party again. When really it is simply stealing the thunder from the original movement lead by Dr. Paul. None of those characters hold a candle to him mainly because all they care about is ratings, popularity and holding office.

Politics in America is EXACTLY like wrestling. You show up and root for your favorite side meanwhile they cross aisles and count the same money behind the scenes. To believe one side or another is not controlled by the same forces is asinine. That being said the true change can come from the people. We just need more pain to bring it on. Apparently, mass unemployment and wall st. fraud isn't enough. No, I fear real change will come only when people start getting hungry again, literally.
