I can't believe my eyes.

I worked for two years in Kota Bahru and at the time I worked there from 86 to 88 Nik Abdul Aziz was already working in the State Government. Kelantan has always been an orthodox Muslim State within Malaysia and most of the time the ruling party there has been the fundamantalist PAS rather than the more moderate islamic Government party.

Apparently things have become even more extreme over there. Gold as Shariah currency and the next step is to bring back barter as trade. If this becomes a trend, we are really going back to the Dark Ages.
