Insider Buying/Selling as an Indicator?

Just wondering if tracking insider buying/selling of the juniors as an indicator makes any sense with prices so low.

I just checked the last 10 trades by insiders on each of several of my juniors on the Insider Trading website, and I noticed that only a few out of some 70 trades were outright buys. Most of the rest were "shares disposed of in the public market" or option related. Most of the option related ones were buys at higher prices with only a few being sold. Maybe that's encouraging in a way..

If these figures are accurate, I'm a little surprised, since I thought that if anyone would be ponying up a few bucks to buy at these ridiculously low prices, it would be insiders. Perhaps they are buying but in tiny dribs and drabs so as not to call attention. And then again, probably not.

The last 10 insider trades on one of my favorite juniors were all option related, at higher prices, which was really startling, since I thought by now the insiders there would be piling on with some heavy buying. Not so, it appears. At least there was no sellling. And this isn't something recent, since the records go back quite s few months.
