The last week or so has seen constant slow down pressure from a number of trading houses (TD/Anon(7/1), Jitney (99), Penson (5), Macquarie (46), UBS (15)) on ECU since our last 2 major buyers from Raymond James (89) and TD (7) slowed down their buys. This illiquid July period has created a good opportunity for the traders and Hedge fund computer programs to try and break ECU down and they have had some success.

The reason for my message is that this morning starting at 7:32 am to 7:36 am someone at TD layered in a whole bunch of additional sells at prices way higher than the market (.70 cents all the way to $5.96) plus some were also placed under Anonymous which is probably TD trader. These sells are on top of a board full of sells already from TD and the various other trader type houses.

My point is that this is a strategy employed to help them paint a negative picture of ECU market depth in an illiquid market and make the computer driven programs take on a negative trading bias to help push ECU lower in a slow grind. We all know that ECU is traded by a few houses using computer trading programs and now someone or some hedge fund is trying to further influence this trend for their own ends, whatever they are.

If you are an investor in ECU and tired of the manipulative actions of the trading houses and computer programs and want to do something constructive then put some bids into the system. I don't care at what prices you enter bids or whether you even intend to buy stock but lets fight back with what limited actions we can employ. I have bought stock recently, not today, and have bids in the system to try and have some impact against these manipulative malevolent types. This has happened before but their actions today to try and paint the market depth data has really gone to far, let's fight back!!! using their own tactics.

If you want to take action and do something construtive just put in a few bids below market and make sure you keep them there at all times going forward as I intend to do going forward.
