Do any other Canadians notice how the local newscasters at 6 o'clock are obsessed with telling us about the weather - what is was, what it is, and what it will be, in 3 separate sections in the program?

Then in the nightly homage to the world of finance, you get a ten word explanation of what happened to the Dow Jones, the TSX, and the Can$. (and, to top it off, they show the price of gold falling $11 to $1213, when in fact it rose to $1213.)

Really disappointing.
