Perfect example of information being abused. (Numbers do not lie, but people do through misstatement or misinterpretation of them.)

That table does not show skyrocketing price of gold, it shows the declining value of the Mark. Gold price numbers just reflected the collapse of paper money.

It is an example of what could happen to the US dollar when the US debt goes out of control, debt being part of the foundation of the green back.

The glass is not half full but half empty, and then some.

That is also an example of how the US government and public is in denial of what is happening and even more could still happen.
