At he very open of the NY exchanges, the xau and hui opened down. 10 minutes later they are the only indexes in the green!

Gold and silver took a bounce off their morning lows, yet are still down for the day.

Today being OE, I would not expect the metals to rise until after the crimex closes at 1:00. However given the stress and other new factors in the metals markets, it would not suprise me in the least to see gold and silver along with the xau and hui close up for the day.
