I have a friend who is VERY plugged into the paper games as they relate to gold and silver. I got this from him this morning:

"Not sure what is cooking here with the SPDR GLD Gold ETF options. But it looks like the insiders are long the JUNE GLD call options in a big way. These options will expire today.

With gold now testing all time new highs this morning, it will prove to be quite an interesting day."

His data and charts are private so I can't forward them, but this could very well be the cabal trying to ballance their shorts. It may also be a way for them to acquire some physical to satisfy the short contracts when they are in the money and the holder opts for delivery.

Just another symptom of the evolving pm markets.
