Aren't we currently seeing just a continuation of the Jr. Bush era? Don't both avenues, inflate or deny, lead to the same endgame eventually? Why so much venom for Obama and never for Bush? Why support a tea party who pays $100,000 plus to hear a woman who indebted a small village in Alaska for over $16 million to build a sports arena on ground the village didn't even own? How is that conservative? How is that even sane? The tea goers, do they know the difference between taxation and inflation?

Wouldn't Reagan fall into your classification of left socialist because he ended the only falling debt to GDP percentage in 30 years and flooded the country with deep debt?

The medicaid program was the biggest giveaway in decades, and that was a bill presented and passed on by the conservative (?) party. The conservative party presented and passed the Patriot Act (what a misnomer that is).

My only hope is that our economy stays together until all the WWII vets are gone. I pray those Americans don't see our disintegration.

Bigpic, Obama is trying for a hail mary. Would it be better if he were to slam the ball down with one second left in the game? Volcker has given Obama the dead-end picture. The reconstruction plan is the only thing of import now.
