I think gold and silver were taken down today for the reason that the USD is overbought and is going to reverse soon. When the USD reverses gold will rise and certain elements would prefer to see gold rise off a lower base. Even though the take down looked pretty impressive I don't think they achieved quite what they were hoping for. When I look at gold right now, I can't help but think gold is a lot like Hulk Hogan right now. He's down and Andre the Giant (COT) just gave him a suplex. However, I hear the Hulkamaniacs stirring and there's a whole lot of whoop ass on the way.
