After yesterday's stellar performance, the boyz have done a much better job today at locking down gold near the $1150 level. So far, numerous breakaway attempts have been thwarted.

It was great to see such strong performance by gold yesterday especially since the USD showed moderate strength and the DOW fell sharply. One cannot help wonder if the Chinese are sending a message to Little Timmy G. as he makes his way to his state begging bowl visit.

Rumour has it that gold's performance was so disturbing yesterday that the boyz were forced to hold an impromptu and off-the-record meeting by mid-afternoon.
