The ramifications of the tungsten bar discovery are being discussed all over the internet today, but it may take a few days for some kind of consensus to develop as to what effect on the gold market the tungsten revelations may have.

One obvious conclusion is that the pressure will grow for audits both of gold at Ft.Knox, and elsehwhere worldwide, plus an audit of the Fed.

In the meantime I found a list of the world's gold refineries, of which there are over 50, according to the LBMA on their good delivery list of acceptable refiners.

The LBMA's disclaimer on the list makes interesting reading.
