Buffet is a different person, since he invested $10 billion interest in Goldman Sachs. While he once had the air of being one of the founding fathers of US capitalism, he has lost that by taking an interest in (one of) the most verocious firm(s) of this planet.
Bernanke did not oppose Hank Paulson when he did his dirty work, meaning he did not oppose Goldman Sachs interest, even when he should have known GS interest at that time opposed US interest.
Sure he backs Bernanke, like all the ex Fed governors did today on CNBC.
