And that's been a part of the bad pattern lately. Perhaps tomorrow, it shall be different and we won't experience the major selloffs we have lately.

There was an article in the weekend WSJ which highlights just how "lucky" Goldman got in terms of the AIG bailout. Pretty rigged, it would seem given the players involved, although I suppose an argument could be made that G&S going under wouldn't have been a very good thing for lots more than just G&S partners.
