The recent article below is by another poster from a completely different junior on the Venture Exchange. I do not agree with all of it but it kind of sounds familiar...

"I've been racking my brain for the last several months trying to figure out where this stupid almost mechanical virus like brokerage has come from and what exactly is it's agenda. Over the last 6 months or so this Jitney has showed up and been basically infecting pretty much every stock on the Venture and TSX with their never ending buy/sell tactics with no other apparent result then to rack up trades. It does however, create significant volatility once it starts trading a stock and in short order creates disruption with the stocks natural movement and a loss of any sense of security investors may have had in the stock. I have verified over the last several months that on average the Jitney brokerage by the end of the trading day is even on the orders thus has neither actually bought or sold any shares and is even on the money side as well.

This IMO leaves me with no other conclusion then to assume that this brokerage house is nothing more than a trader plying on unsuspecting investors and possibly raking in vast amounts of money on the commissions being charged for the trades.

Years ago there was actually a type of trade that the Trade Commission investigated and found out that this was rampant in the less known brokerage houses and setup regulation to track, locate and put a stop to this type of criminal activity. They even coined a term for it and yes believe it or not was called the 'jitney' trade.

Here is one article I located, I would ask that you all start looking very closely at this Jitney brokerage and pass this information on and perhaps we can get the regulators to actually look into this house and audit their activities because I for one am getting pretty frustrated with their crap. Please post this around to other stocks."
