It's been some time since we've seen those straight down lines at around 8:30 Eastern on the gold/silver charts that make you look twice in disbelief. That is encouraging to say the least, and looks that the boys aren't getting their way like they're used to.

Most of the big guns on the HUI are down sharply pre-open. Perhaps due to stock option expiration tomorrow.
