The 15 year seasonal silver price began a very sharp uptrend beginning right about Nov 2nd, today! For the rest of the year the price went up at roughly a 45 degree angle and possibly into February of the following year. However, for reasons that escape me, the 40 year seasonal silver price took a dive into late November before heading sharply higher into year end. Must have been some heavy selling somewhere to account for that.
So, one way or the other, if history repeats, we should launch from here. And I wonder what algorithms the quants have prepared to keep it from happening.
Nice seasonal chart through June, 2008, at 321gold with a link to the gold seasonal chart.
