Every quarter for the last 5 years, a group of us who graduated MBA school get together for drinks at the local watering hole. Every quarter for the last 5 years we would talk about where we were investing and every quarter I would mention PM's and juniors. Everyone else would talk about their tech/financials/etc investments. Not one question was ever asked about how to get into the PM/junior sector.

We just met recently and for the first time, one of the financial planners in the bunch said he was thinking about looking into PM's and juniors for his clients and asked a few questions about where to start. Yes.....it was just one of the 15 who seemed interested but one is a start.

As we sit here and have to read and listen to many in our industry talk about $1,000 being the top and to exit the PM/junior ship, the vast majority of those in the States may be just waking up to the sector.

Just a thought to ponder when one starts to feel that our time will never come.
