The other important thing I saw today was Gary Gensler chairman of the CFTC and an X-Goldman Sachs employee has revoked 2 investment firms no-action letters from exceeding position limits in the agricultural markets. His reasoning was he did not want concentration in the Grain markets. Curiously, what I also believe is the largest commodity index fund of all the Goldman Sachs Commodity Index fund exemption of positions limits in the agricultural markets was not revoked. The Wall Street Journal article insinuates he has decided let the energy and metals markets to be regulated by the exchanges. These are the markets where many analysts believe concentration and manipulation are more serious issues. Once again instead of fixing the problems that have brought us here, "insider" regulators appear to be interested in helping Wall Street gain more market share and profits.
