Personally, I think they're both wrong, and both right, and the actuality is somewhere in between.

Ted B seems to always want my money, and while he appears to be a great guy to have a few beers with, I'll bet he wouldn't pick up the tab.

North seems kinda crusty, and I don't ever recall reading any of his articles saying "buy"; only "sell". I don't really trust him either, and his article against Ted is awfully vituperative. Is he trying to convince me (read "us"), or just picking a fight with Ted.

Perhaps subscribers have dwindled, so it is just a subscriber war shaping up.

Anyhow, silver is a monetary metal, as are all metals, to various extents.
