No doubt pic: agree strongly! What is sticking in my consciousness is that we are at a time of possible extreme change. Two things closely related are coming to a head. To me that means a struggle with a winner and a loser.

As long as the boyz have been depressing the price of gold and silver, they are the winners. The $ was a winner, as well as the banks that continue to punp $ out by the bit bucket full. The losers alas include all who invest in gold or silver or their mining stocks.

What is fascinating is, "at some point..." may be now. In the past, I expected gold to lose and the $ to win at these high visibility events. But the increased effort and decreasing effects are now showing. What I am hoping for is that the boyz fail to do anything more than hold the line on the metals for a day or two. Not get gold down $20, ... not $10, but level or up a buck or two with max effort on the crooks part.

I have always wanted to see this (as most of us have), but this is the most promising pm environment I have seen since Aug of 09 (the Washington accord). IF the pms hold and the auction shows a bunch of purchases by the pirates of the Caribbean next week, I will be buying a new Mercedes n November and we'll all be bragging of ECU purchases at $0.xx!
