It must be difficult for exporters to price products correctly, since their currencies can move this way and that in a hurry. Not too long ago the Cando was near .87 against the US dollar, if I remember correctly. Now approaching .94 as the US dollar slides, it must be causing more than a few headaches for Canadian exporters. And it looks as if it has room to keep going.
Those of us in the US with Canadian stock positions have seen a 5% retrace upwards in prices in a few short weeks. Nice reversal for us after a long slide the other way. Looks like free lunch again for awhile.
