Last night 29 of the 30 stocks in McEwen's Junior Gold Index closed in the red. One was unchanged. All 15 HUI stocks closed in the red. Looked to me like pure algorithm generated selling in the juniors and seniors, since I doubt we retail types have the fire power or the herd mentality to drive 44 of 45 PM stocks into the red in one day.
Today was a little better. Ten of McEwen's Juniors closed in the green. One unchanged. Only one HUI was green, so perhaps that says something about the juniors having a little more spring built into them. If tomorrow shows continued improvement, maybe the black boxes will shift gears.
