I was referring to me when I said "we see what we want to see."

I can see patterns in charts when they don't really exist or mean anything and miss legitimate patterns that are right in front of my face. I'm aware of my inexperience in chart reading and at least try to tread carefully when I look at them.

I have a habit of often acting on information after I squeeze and mold it until it seems to fit what I want it to fit. Then I have to deal with what is often a gut feeling that what I did was out of whack. Sometimes my hasty acts have cost me dearly.
