Golden Minerals is a junior silver producer with a strong growth profile, listed on both the NYSE Amex and TSX.
We are all being squeezed and when something gets squeezed often something gets pushed out, that often means our emotions and sometimes objective reasoning. If you have a sizable amount of cash available and are looking for an easy and quick profit then would you not depend on people being squeezed to supply you with great opportunities.
I suppose no one here would argue that ECU does not have the goods in the ground? Not seriously. Nor that we are under priced, I mean not just due to the market but relative to the peer group. Might be a few.
Sound reasoning says this stock is a Buy. However what is happening to the share price? Slowly but surely we are being pecked to near death.
My conclusion has to be that when water flows up hill something is amiss. Well, ECU is going counter to natural laws, meaning intervention. I can not see likelyhood of a different interpretation.
That being so, How can one not react to such an event. I am not one to use 'four letter words' in speech or text but they do come to mind. So in this topsy turvey world what can I do? (Yes, I do joke about imbibing into a bit of wine for comfort and solace.)
I feel that I need to bite the perverbial bullet and go with the flow.
If they are shorting or what ever else ( That Goldman Sachs computer program seems to be in the back of my mind now ), take advantage of the opportunity when it presents itself and be comforted that due to the quality of this stock it has to rise even if it is later than sooner.
I do not have any reserve cash left in my accounts, had to sell some gold stocks that are not moving much to buy a few additional scraps of ECU as the price dropped. So am still content that it was and is a good move. I am just hoping that I will not have to wait the whole summer to profit from this hopefully short term investment.
I am assuming that as the dollar falls that we will not so much get a multiple gain on our
wealth but that we preserve it while everything else about falls. I mean that as the dollar falls the share price will go up sharply in dollars but those dollars will be severely of lesser value thus countering some of the numerical gains in the share price.
Don't cry about it, just get even.
