I took a couple of short trips in the car this morning. Each time I turned on the radio I found myself in the middle of a commercial to buy gold coins because the price was so low, the economy was going to tank, blah, blah, blah, so call now because.... Sickening.

I've noticed an increase in these commercials down here in Florida as well as the ones that want your unused and out-of-style jewelry laying around in some drawer gathering dust. Haven't you heard it could be sold for super-duper never-to-be-seen-again prices. And they'll even send you a safe, secure box to send it in. All I can see is the usual cast of characters licking their chops as they skin the unsuspecting public for fun and profit.....again. We've already got more than our share of those guys waving their signs on the street corners as it is.

Also don't like all this new visibility. As has been said before, when gold/silver start appearing on magazine covers as the thing to have, maybe time to start thinking about unloading some of that stuff I've got loaded in back of the truck.
