BigPic, in as much as the US is trying to keep the US$ solvent, Bank of Canada is unlikely to stand by and let C$ to appreciate much relative to the US$.

They will likely step in to keep it below 0.90US. Just my gut feeling based on Ontario and Quebec's economy - i.e. unemployment.

Sorry to pour cold water on.
