With the exception of one penny stock being down about -25% ECU is my lowest this morning. Most are slightly into the red or near zero and one green at +9%.

The some news media have been saying that it is a reaction to the flu hysteria.

ECU down 9% in a couple of hours is a bit much and unjustified, imho.
