I just want to thank you all for these posts. There are so many truths to what many have said.

Gospel, you were more than right when you said that for any human being to follow the ten commandements to the T is impossible, but what I liked even more is the fact that you didn't leave it at that.

God did make a way out when He sent His Son.

1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins" in his body on the tree, so that we might die to those sins and live righteously. "By his wounds you have been healed."

I, by no means consider myself to be a religious person, but I am a Christian. When many people think of religion, they think of rules and regulations. Christianity is not religion, it is a relationship with our Heavenly Father, through His Son who came and paid that price for my sinfulness.

So, when I look at the Ten Commandments, I must look at them with a humbled spirit, because I know that even if I have stumbled at one point, I am guilty of all (James 2:10), but the greatest thing that shines through it all is the final sacrifice that was made. I have accepted that sacrifice, and am glad to say that, "HE HAS RISEN!!"

That is why we celebrate this weekend, and I appreciate all those here that were not ashamed to say it as it is...This holiday is not about bunnies and eggs (well put Gospel). It is about a risen Savior...Not to say anything against the egg hunts and candy...I like candy and I love watching my lil niece and nephews' faces when they search for the goodies...but that does belong in its place and not the center of focus on this holiday.

History has shown that when this nation has struggled, and ends get harder to meet...the people in general turn to something in their life to get them through...Our nation was built under God, and for many of our recent years, we have come to a point of ignoring Him and have even gone as far as to curse Him. No one has been able to disprove one bit of the Bible, and even with all that man has done to try and do away with the Christian belief system, no one has been able to.

So, what is our nation going to do? Times are getting tougher, and the luxeries in life are getting harder to come by. People are losing their jobs and their houses. The stock market ain't looking too hot, and China is trying to push a new single world currency (which could ultimately stop the existence of the dollar altogether). Who are we going to turn to? And I hope we don't say the government...They are a big reason why we are in this mess.

He saw us through all the trials our nation has gone through up to now...He will see us through these ones, if we will only let Him. He is God and He is Sovereign. Our nation does not need politics...It needs a Savior. The same one that died on a cross 2000 years ago is just as real today as He was back then.

Happy Easter everybody!! I hope you all get to enjoy this holiday with your families. I do hope that God blesses America, but first, we need to remember to bless Him.
