It is sad to see what our economy is going through. For as long as I can remember, I have considered myself to be an optimist, but with the current economic situation we are in, I am having a hard time finding something good to say about it.

I can tell you this much, and basically we already know this, but we are looking at a long, hard road in front of us.

Now, I haven't been around for the longest time, but what I have learned in my young life and especially recently is:

1) The dollar is paper...with no gold backing, the only thing making one of "more value" than another is a number on the front /back

2) Gold and Silver are solid, personal insurance/assurance policies...Sure, there is fluctuations up and down, but what will happen when those manipulating these markets no longer have the moola to do so? I believe that day is approaching. Where do you all think the price will go then? Heck, they're having a hard enough time getting it down and keeping it below 900 and 12.90 dollars US.

3) ECU is a legitimate mining company, with legitimate resources, with a legitimate recently acquired mill, and has new money coming in daily....An opportunity like this one comes only once in a blue moon. Do you think I'm going to miss this train? I don't think so...It's pullin' out real fast....Next stop, who knows...but right now, I'm concentrating on the long haul and a fully paid college bill. This stock has the potential yield well beyond that.

A rough economy...A rough inflation rate...A diamond in the rough--ECU...I think so!! Best of luck.
