I do not use/rely on any charting or statistical method for the very reason that in my opinion they do not apply to a manipulated event. In such a situation Charts provide history but are of little help in pediction.

In a manipulated scenario it is important to be cognizant of who, what and how much is capable of the manipulation. Jmho.
