Okay, let's see now....GLD traded 25+ MILLION shares today. So, at some 88 bucks a share that comes to .......um....2 BILLION 200 MILLION bucks sloshing around GLD just today. SLV traded 11+ MILLION shares at 12.45 each which comes to ....um......roughly 137 MILLION bucks added to the pile. And to think these monsters weren't around just a few short years ago. No wonder there's little money for us.

I really don't get it. Are we the only ones reading those reports regarding GLD and SLV that suggest only numb-nuts should be investing in them? Aren't they just mysterious, quicksand puzzles? I guess it's an easy play, quick in and out, easy to follow trend, plenty of liquidity and in a field that continues to beckon.

Shows me, though, that there's a huge number of money bags out there aware of the PMs and playing what to them may be the safest way to play the PM action nowadays.

One of these days, maybe, the odds are going to favor leaving the dark side to come over to ours. Should be a welcome treat watching the action, if just a small percentage of that GLD/SLV cash came our way.
